Aditya Subramanian is a rising senior at Stratford Preparatory Blackford in San Jose, California. As a junior, he cofounded this organization with Arjun Surendar in December 2024. He has studied the piano since the age of 5. In 2023, he received second place at the US Open Music Competition – Treasury of Romantic Composers category and received first prize at the Great Composer Series Art Piano Competition. In 2024 he won 2nd prize in the American Protege International and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. In 2025 he received fourth place at the US Open Music Competition – Treasury of Romantic Composers category. His favorite composers are Medtner, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, and Scriabin. Outside of piano, Aditya likes computer science, playing and watching basketball
Arjun Surendar is a sophomore at Cupertino High School, in Cupertino, California. As a freshman in high school, he cofounded this organization with Aditya Subramanian in December 2024. He has studied the flute since the age of 7. He played in California Youth Symphony for 5 year in their Wind Symphony ensemble. His favorite composers are Bach and Andersen. Outside of flute, Arjun likes mathematics, computer science and nature.
Marcus Wong is a junior at Cupertino High School in Cupertino, California. He joined Chords for Good in November 2025 and currently serves as the vice president of the organization. He plays both piano and violin. He has played piano since age 6 and began learning the violin in his freshman year of high school. Marcus’s most recent achievement includes earning Second Place in the American Protégé Competition of Romantic Music. He was also a finalist in the Amadeus International Music Awards and was invited to perform at a winners’ concert in Salzburg. Earlier, he placed Third Prize in the Berlin Classical Music Competition and was invited to perform at the Kammermusiksaal the Philharmonie in Berlin. He also earned Second Prize in the NYC Classical Debut Awards and was invited to perform at a Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Naveen Somani is a junior at Cupertino High School, in Cupertino. He had been playing the guitar on and off since the age of 9 and enjoys playing more modern and recent pieces. He joined Chord for Good in September 2025 and looks forward to meeting everyone and sharing the beautiful love of instruments with the world.
John Wang is a sophomore at Cupertino High School, in Cupertino. He plays violin and joined Chords for Good in September 2025.
Maxson Wong is a freshman at Cupertino High School, in Cupertino, California. He joined Chords for Good in December 2025, following his brother, Marcus Wong. Having played the violin since 10 years old, he plays the violin in duets with his brother as well as some solo pieces. Other than the violin, Maxson is in his School’s Mock trial team, and enjoys running.
